Kala Health ARTHRIX® PLUS HA Joint Health Supplement
The new and improved ARTHRIX PLUS, now with Hyaluronic Acid.
Kala Health ARTHRIX® PLUS HA is the maximum-strength hip and joint formula in the Arthrix range, and it replaces the original ARTHRIX PLUS. It keeps the same trusted core of glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin, and adds Hyal-Flex™ Hyaluronic Acid. That is a natural compound found in joint fluid and cartilage, which works alongside collagen and elastin to keep joints cushioned and flexible.
Kala Health suggests it for middle-aged dogs and cats who are starting to show signs of stiffness. It is suitable for dogs and cats aged 6 weeks and above, and comes as a tasty chewable tablet you can give as a treat or mix into food.
What's in Every Tablet:
- Glucosamine HCL (GreenGrown®) 700 mg: Vegetarian-sourced glucosamine that is not derived from shellfish, to support mechanical joint function.
- OptiMSM® 500 mg: An organic sulphur compound that helps maintain joint function and works with the glucosamine and chondroitin.
- Chondroitin Sulphate (ChondroPure™) 350 mg: Low-molecular chondroitin for absorption, supporting cartilage elasticity and protecting against cartilage wear.
- Hyaluronic Acid (Hyal-Flex™) 25 mg: The new addition, for joint lubrication and tissue health.
- Plus: Cetyl Esters (long-chain fatty acids) 50 mg, Vitamin C (Ester-C®) 50 mg and Great Salt Lake Salts (OmniMin™) 15 mg.
Made in the USA, and the pack carries the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) Quality Seal.
Daily Amount by Body Weight:
- Under 10kg: ½ tablet
- 11 to 25kg: 1 tablet
- 26 to 40kg: 2 tablets
- 41 to 55kg: 3 tablets
- Over 55kg: 4 to 5 tablets
For weeks 1 to 4, give double the amount above as a loading dose. Use for a minimum of 30 days for best results, and give it on a full stomach.
Pro-Tip from That Pet Supply Store: Remember the loading dose when you work out how many tablets you need. A 10–25kg dog gets through around 56 tablets in the first four weeks alone, so the 90-tablet bottle is the better buy for a first month. Store it somewhere cool and dry, but not in the fridge, which matters in Singapore's humidity.
